Salt Coffee Roasters is Zac Lazarac's Newstead cafe and on-site coffee roastery at 60A Doggett Street, serving house-roasted coffee, pour-overs, crumpets and sandwiches.
About Salt Coffee Roasters
Former stockbroker Zac Lazarac began home-roasting on a Probat machine before opening Salt Coffee Roasters in Newstead in early 2019. He named the house Julie Blend after his mother, who ran a Morningside cafe.
Salt combines an espresso bar with on-site roasting at its Doggett Street corner site. The cafe serves its own blend as espresso and pour-over, alongside single origins, house-made crumpets and sandwiches.
