Petrichor Cafe

Petrichor Cafe sits on the corner of Racecourse Road and Allen Street in Hamilton, and also trades as Petrichor & Co on its social accounts. The cafe describes its food as inspired by the flavours of Colombia and Latin America.

The all-day brunch menu covers cafe staples like smashed avocado, eggs benedict and corn fritters, next to Latin specials including arepa con carne, beef and cheese empanadas, marranitas, cassava chips and a big Colombian breakfast with sides of plantain and Colombian beans. Drinks run from espresso coffee and a 24-hour house cold brew to fresh juices, smoothies, and beer and wine.

Petrichor also sells frozen take-home meals through its website, takes table bookings online, and hosts events at the cafe such as taco nights and social salsa.
