Straits is Brendan McCrystal's specialty coffee shop at 82 Leicester Street in Coorparoo, serving coffee and simple pastries while playing selections from its vinyl record collection.
About Straits
Brendan McCrystal opened Straits as his first solo venture after working at The Black Lab Coffee Co, Blackout Paddington and If You Say So. Straits opened in September 2023.
The small Coorparoo shop serves specialty coffee, a house cold brew, rotating roasters and a concise selection of sweet and savoury food. Vinyl records provide the soundtrack throughout the day.
