Swiss Gourmet Delicatessen

Peter Marinelli’s family took over the Boundary Street deli in 1987 — the premises had traded as a delicatessen since the mid-1950s — and he and his wife Maria now run it with their sons Marco and Anthony.

Swiss Gourmet remains a traditional delicatessen, with groceries, sliced meats, made-to-order sandwiches, coffee and takeaway food. Much of it is prepared in-house, including roast meats, baked goods and Maria’s Portuguese custard tarts, and the deli also caters across Brisbane.
